Connecting to SAGE.EDU VPN using GlobalProtect on Mac OSX

  1. Go to https://vpn-t.sage.edu
    1. Sign in using your SAGE username and password

  1. Use the link that applies to your Operating system

  1. Install the program the Global Protect Agent
  2. You should now have a program called "Global Protect"
    1. A globe with a “x” should now be in your taskbar on Mac OSX   
  3. When installing there is 3 items you need to fill out
    1. Username = Sage Username
    2. Password = Sage Password
    3. Portal = vpn-t.sage.edu


When connected the Globe Symbol should look such as (Instead of a 'x' you will see a Shield)

If your Mac OSX has a problem connecting with a certificate error you may have to manually set it so that your Mac OSX allows the certificate to be used.

  1. Open "Keychain Access"

  1. Under "Login" Keychain

  1. Look for a certificate named vpn-t.sage.edu

  1. Open the Certificate

  1. Under Trust > "When using this certificate"

  1. Select "Always Trust"
